Ever since Lion (OS X 10.7), Apple has hidden your personal Library folder (/Library) by default. In Lion and Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8), you could make the folder visible, but it required some work. You may need to access content in the user Library folder to troubleshoot problems with your Adobe applications. The user Library folder is hidden by default in macOS X 10.7 and later releases. Use one of the following methods to make the user Library content visible.

Hold down the Alt (Option) key when using the Go menu. The user Library folder is listed below the current user's home directory.

  1. In Finder (the desktop screen), click on the Go menu, then select Go to Folder....
     The 'Go to Folder' window appears.

  1. In Finder (the desktop screen), click on the Go menu, then press the Option or Alt key on the keyboard.
     The Library entry will appear on the Go menu.
     
  2. Click on the Library entry.
